Flying Objects is Australia's home grown brand of fins, harnesses, board bags, wetsuits and accessories for windsurfing, surfing, paddle surfing(SUP) and kite surfing.
Based in Western Australia, Flying Objects have been building windsurfing accessories with an emphasis on function and reliability since the late '80's.

Flying Object have been the leading brand in Australia for some time, and with www.windRider.gr now bringing them into the GREECE , sailors such as Jem Hall of EZZY SAILS are now joining the band of windsurfers sailing Flying Objects gear.
The Flying Objects ''NITRO'' G10 series has been deisgned using CAD sortware that allows each fin the be optimised for a non generic profile. We take this information and precisely replicate each design using very fine tooling paths in the CNC milliand bigger sails. To maximise top end speed while maintaining control we have opted for a narrow Chord width along the length of each fin and also ensure for minimal twist in the tip for power in early planning conditions.
FLYING OBJECTS - FLOW
The FLOW are CNC milled G10 to precisely replicate the outline and foil that we set out ot achieve. This method is more expensive but allows us to manipulate the design more than traditional polyester fins. Compared to the E-WAVE the FLOW has less surface area via a narrower Chord in both the base and the tip. This provides a faster outline for use in heavier and faster waves. The narrow tip also allows for a clean bottom turn through moderate amounts of flex while letting the board slash its way through the top turn.
FLYING OBJECTS E-Wave
The E-Wave is hand foiled from Polyester . The Flying objects E-Wave combines a fast foil for use on modern style wave boards. The E-wave has a larger surface area with a wider chord and a narrower outline compared to the FLOW which gives greater lift and earlier planing. The flexible tip gives a nice smooth arc when bottom turning and ready to change direction any time.
FLYING OBJECTS- TWIN WAVE
Flying Objects - Twin Wave was introduced to meet the demand for Twin fin boards into the market. The Twin Fin design has a similar outline and characteristic to our main wave fin ranges. Again using a fast outline to help gain and maintain forward speed through the turn, then having a soft flexible tip to release the side wall pressure when initiating and re-directing the turn. The use of polyester helps to reduce cost when replacing a fin set.
